Moving East as the Long Island Expressway was constructed. Allan V. Rose built Harbor Green a 133-acre, waterfront tract of land 12 ft below grade on the Great South Bay in Massapequa. This housing development was unique as it was one of the first developments built on marshland on Long Island.
